Other fascinating historical and legendary sites are also found in the region.

Travel from Salalah to historic sites, drinking water, tea, coffee and local snacks. Lunch is included with full day tours.
DON'T FORGET:

OUR TIPS:
The Al Baleed Museum, which provides an excellent introduction to local history, is in Salalah's souther suburbs and is open mornings and evenings. A pleasant walking route, as well as golf carts and boat rides are available. Most archaeological sites are quite remote and in hot areas, so it is wise to make an early start. Ubar/Shisr is over 2 hours from the city at the edge of the Empty Quarter, and is best combined with a desert camping trip.
